ABOUT TUSKER BEER
Tusker is a pale lager beer brand owned by East African Breweries, a subsidiary of Diageo. It was first brewed in 1922 in Kenya, and is now the largest African beer brand in the Diageo group. Tusker is brewed from 100% African ingredients, including barley from the Savannah and Maasai Mara, spring water from the Aberdare Mountains, and locally developed yeast.
Tusker has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 4.2%, and is known for its crisp, refreshing taste. It is a popular beer in Kenya and other East African countries, and is also exported to other parts of the world.
Tusker is a symbol of Kenyan culture and heritage, and is often associated with national pride. The beer's slogan, "Bia yangu, Nchi yangu," means "My beer, My country" in Kiswahili. Tusker is also a sponsor of many sporting events and cultural festivals in Kenya.
In addition to the regular Tusker lager, there are also a number of other Tusker products available, including:
* Tusker Malt: A stronger beer with an ABV of 5.0%.
* Tusker Lite: A lower calorie beer with an ABV of 4.0%.
* Tusker Cider: A premium cider made from fresh apples.
* Tusker Draught: Tusker fresh from the tap.
Tusker is a versatile beer that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with food. It is a popular choice for barbecues, parties, and other social gatherings.
